Academic Collaborations
There are several ways to collaborate with SEDL. The most common way is to become an external academic collaborator who works with us on a specific scholarly publication or is involved in one of the projects we are managing.
Interní spolupráce
If you participate in internal collaboration, you become a full member of SEDL. Since SEDL is part of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, you are generally required to have some form of employment at that institution.
Externí spolupráce
External collaboration is generally limited to specific academic publications or the duration of a specific project.
Institucionální spolupráce
If you are interested in institutional cooperation, it is essential to agree on the specific terms. Institutional cooperation is typically limited to the duration of a specific project. In the past, for example, we collaborated with our partner nonprofit organization Schola Empirica, z.s., which focuses on implementing successful international programs in the fields of education and early childhood care, to evaluate the effectiveness of the KiVa anti-bullying program.
Naše kapacity
You can also contact us if you need research personnel, for example, for a large-scale project you have recently been awarded. In such cases, individual members with available capacity would typically collaborate with you on a freelance basis. We generally provide our expertise for the creation of specific scholarly publications in exchange for authorship.
